Question about Halal meat?!
I have been watching on Youtube the workings of a Halal beef slaughterhouse and was quite impressed by the process,
The question is ,is all Halal meat slaughtered in the same way,Is Halal meat slaughtered in a more ethical way and does it taste better for it!?

I shouldn't think it tastes any different at all, it is purely based on religious beliefs and what they think is right, as far as I see it meat is meat and there's and end to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
you need to ask this in YOUR religious community
only in the rural communities are there hand raised steers!.
All others are are sold at auction and inspected by the USDA
far more critically than your (!?!?) priest or trained butcher (!?!?)
I would venture BOTH halal and Kosher are bleed in very similar manner (cruel in my opinion a shotgun is most instant)

well i wouldnt know i have never had haram meat!.!.!. i only eat halal and as far as i know the taste isnt all that diffrent but there is more burkat :DWww@FoodAQ@Com
