What's the difference in Chinese and Japanese foods.?!
Answers:
Japanese food is heavily focus on fish and other foodstuff from the sea, such as seaweed!.
Chinese food is far more diverse, just because China is a big country and there are many different style of cooking!.
I believe both Japanese and Chinese cooking are healthy, as long as they are traditional, and not "Americanized" versions!. Traditional Chinese do not use MSG, but sadly, most so-called ethnic restaurants in North America do!.
Both styles emphasize fresh ingredients, artistic presentation, and that food is to be served and consumed immediately after cooked!.

Japanese food is definitely healthier and actually also looks nicer the way they make it, so the visual aspect is important for Japanese cuisine!. A lot of Japanese diet is based on sea food ( although I object to Japanese catching whales!)!. Chinese cuisine is heavier and is more varied (well it is a much bigger country) but what you normally get in the USA is standardized (like fast-food)!. Nowadays even sushi (japanese) is also getting standardized!. Well try both kinds and judge for yourself!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Japanese food is mostly raw fish like sushi or teriyaki beef/chicken on rice or udon noodle soups!.
Chinese dishes are loaded with msg or sodium and saturated fats like fried rice, deep fried taro dumplings which isnt healthy!.
moral of the topic is japanese food is healthierWww@FoodAQ@Com
