Steaming Sui Mai in a Rice Cooker?!
I'm looking to use this recipe:
http://www!.grouprecipes!.com/1045/sui-mai!.!.!.
However, I'm a bit hesitant when it comes to how it's cooked!.
First and foremost, I'm worried about the raw meat not being suffiently cooked!.
Secondly, I'm wondering if I couldn't just use the veggie steamer rack in my rice cooker!? It gets very hot, thoroughly cooks (almost overcooks) the rockhard frozen veggies from the freezer!.!.!.
Does anyone have any experience with this!? also, alternative recipes are welcome!
Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

you'll be surprised at the things you can do with a rice cooker!. don't worry about it being insufficiently cooked!. u could take one out to test if u must, poke into the meat slightly and check if it's still red!.
