Answers:
It's a Korean love for dogs!.!.!.just on the news how China called for all restaurants (in the highly populated Korean areas in the capital of Beijing) to take 'dog meat' off their menus for the Olympics!. If you search, you can find that latest released newsbit!.
Philipines is usually not into dogmeat!.!.!.unless very, VERY remote areas!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm Filipino and I say that it does happen in both countries!. In some parts it is a delicacy, but in other parts, it is eaten simply because there is not other source of protein!. Several people there are generationally poor and unless you are sending your funds to help them out, check yourself!. FYI, people in other countries think eating rotten, chunky milk (cheese) is disgusting!.

And for those who poopoo on eating dogs as food, do you also criticize those who worship cows or refuse to eat pigs!? I'm very sure there are people who keep these animals as pets!. Will you shake them around and convince them that the animals are food and not things to love!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well they do eat dog in china but i dont know about the Philippines!. It is somewhat of a delicacy over there!. I dont know how it tastes because i myself have never eaten it, but my uncle (who was there for the military) said he had it by accident and didn’t like it!. I know someone else that was in the military that had it and she tried it (on purpose!.!.!.eww) and she didn’t like it either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i know people who have tried eating dogs and they say it tastes great, but i haven't tried it, mainly bec i think its wrong and dogs are great PETS not food!. one effect of eating dogs is that it makes you hot and sweat, and other dogs can smell it through your skin so in turn they may growl at you!. dogs are a delicacy esp taken during drinking sessions!. breeds!? not a difference!. health of the dog, yes, bad move if the dog killed got rabies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My uncles from China, and yes they do there!.
Phillpines some people do!.
It tastes like any other meat, but a bit tougher, more muscular!.

He says he's tried a couple breeds but they don't just shoot a dog and grill it there, they have a special place for growing dogs, just like pigs!. Then when they get big and fat enough they kill them and are shipped off to your local supermarket in Beijing!

Personally, i would never eat a dog!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unfortunatly, yes!.!.!. But not everybody eats it!.!. In the philippines, people steal dogs from the streets, or from people at night!.!. And load them in a jeep or truck or whatever in a way they cant be seen!.!. Then Its on the black market!.!.!.!.!.!.

I'm not racist!.!. I'm part Filipino!.!. And i've seen it happen!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not sure about the breed differences, but yes!. It's considered a delicacy, not something that they're going to slip into your food to save on money!.

I had issues with trying it because I love dogs!. In the end I did!. Tastes a lot like cat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
