Answers:
Even on a diet you should go ahead and enjoy a nice dinner every once in awhile!. I would chose pasta over pizza!. Try to limit the cheese if possible!. Try to skip the bread or limit yourself to a small portion!. Maybe choose a dish that has seafood or lots of veg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken piccata, or chicken cacciatore with your pasta on the side should be great!. Avoid the cheese!. How about shrimp for an appetizer, as long as its not fried!. Or mushrooms, yum!.!.!. Skip the bread and dipping oil or butter!. Fill up on salad with dressing on the side (oil and vinegar, not a creamy one!.) The glass of wine should be fine, too!. Have fun and enjoy!
My mom and grandmother are 100% Italian and cook and eat Italian all the time, and they are both thin and trim!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Italian restaurant usually have salads!. A salad or a whole wheat pasta tossed in olive oil!. I would think a glass of red wine is ok!. It depends what kind of diet you are on, and how strict the diet is!.
You may be able to pull the menu up on line before you go to do some research on calorie count!.
Yum! Have fun!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try something from the fish menu!. Most restaurants will have a fillet or shellfish offering that is lower in calories!. Ask that your pasta be served on the side, so that you control how much you actually eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Calamari appetizer!.
Polo Rosa Maria ( chicken in a tomato sauce)
Tossed salad, dressing on the side!.
Glass of red wine!.
(skip dessert)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should get a garlic sauce instead of a creamy sauce!.!. It's way less fattening!. For starters you could get some Calamari if you like that!.!. or some spinich dip, just avoid fried foods!. Red wine should be ok too!. =]Www@FoodAQ@Com

avoid cream sauces!. eat some seafood or grilled chicken dishes!. nothing fried!. you should be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
