what kind of tea want to make!? oolong, chrysanthemum, green tea, jasmine!?
in general, to make good tea, you need a ceramic or clay teapot to keep the heat in!. with the water, it is best to use filtered water instead of plain tap water because there are many impurities present in tap water which may affect the sweet, pure flavor of the brewed tea!. the tea leaves you use should be good quality to ensure a 'smooth texture' and sweetness!.
assuming you have a restaurant sized teapot, place 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea leaves in the pot (depends how strong you like it), or one small handful of chrysanthemum- washed to remove sediment and dust!. fill pot with near boiling water and brew for around 2 to 3 minutes!.
note that if tea is left for too long to brew, it will acquire a bitter taste, so if youre only making tea for yourself, buy a small teapot and adjust the amount of tea leaves accordingly!. remember most of the time, if chinese tea is made at home, it can taste better than the tea at restaurants and fast food shops!
