Italian: Mozzarella, ricotta, basil, oregano, olive oil, different types of pasta (fettuccine, cannelloni, tortellini, etc!.) - so one of the main ingredients is wheat flour, prosciutto

In Italian cooking you normally see pastas, and theres also alot of bakeing involved in italian cuisine, breads, pizza doughs etc!.!.They use lots of cheeses and oils causeing the food to somtimes turn out pretty greasy!. Parm cheese is a cheese they love to put on just about anything!.
and the use olive oil!.!.!.!.in EVERYTHING!.(not really but it seems like it) it might be the healthiest of all oils but its still pure fat!.!.!.
In Japanese and chinese cooking one of their main staple foods is rice or rice noodles!.!.!.!.Like Sushi!.!.!.always served with rice!. They use all kinds of protiens!.!.!.!.Beef, Poultry, Pork, Seafood!. And they love their soy sauce lemme tell ya!. its either in!.!.!.or can be added to just about any of their meals!. They make good use of Cocunut milk in alot of desserts!. and in many currys
The Dutch & Germans normally use the same ingredients such as starchy foods!.!.!.!.like potatoes!. and their fav protien is def sausage!. youll see it alot as the main source of meat in their recipes!. they also use a good amount of cheese in their cooking!.
