Russian or Turkish food?!
My boyfriend is Turkish but lived in Russia his whole life!. He recently moved to America and for our anniversary I wanted to make him dinner, however I'm clueless as to what to make!. Any suggestions!? Perferably something that doesn't take all day to make!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, you could make a russian appetizer and then have the rest of the meal be american!.
Blinnis are small crepes (like 2 inches wide that are served with a tiny bit of caviar and a dollop of sour cream!. You can use any standard crepe recipe!.
I really like a light borsct which is beet soup!. You use chicken broth, canned beets, sliced into matchstick size pieces, chopped onion (1 med) and carrots (3 medium) and a little celery!. Saute the carrots onion and celery in a little oil until they are tender!. Add the beets with the juice from the can and a couple of cans of chicken broth!. You will have to salt and pepper to taste!. Serve this with some good dark bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
