Beef and Broccoli-

Ingredients:

1 lb!. flank steak
1/4 c!. soy sauce
1/4 c!. dry sherry
1 tsp!. ginger root
1 tsp!. sugar
1 tsp!. minced garlic
2 tsp!. cornstarch
1/4 c!. water
2 med!. onions
1 bunch broccoli
1/2 c!. oil

Steps:

1!. Cut meat in pieces 1 1/2 inches long by 1/4 inch thick!. Combine soy sauce, sherry, ginger, sugar, garlic, cornstarch and water!. Mix well!. Add meat to marinade and let stand 1 hour!.

2!. Place 1/4 cup oil in pan and cook onions and broccoli for 1 minute, remove from pan and dry pan!. Cook drained meat in 1/4 cup oil until brown (1 minute)!. Add juice until thickened!. Add vegetables!. Serve over rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3/4 pound thin beef strips
2 cups fresh broccoli florets
1 (!.87 ounce) package Brown Gravy Mix
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat!. Add beef strips; saute 3-4 minutes; add in broccoli!.
Combine Gravy Mix, water and black pepper!. Pour over beef mixture!. Stir and bring to a boil!. Cover and simmer 5-8 minutes or until broccoli is tender!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Heat your wok or pan over med high heat!. Add olive oil with a touch of sesame oil if you like!. Stir fry beef for a few minutes, then remove!. Stir fry broccoli until just tender!. Return meat to pan along with a cup or two of beef broth, reserving 1/2 cup of broth!. Season with Soy sauce and pepper!. Simmer for a few minutes!. Add a tablespoon of cornstarch to the remaining broth then add to the beef and stir until thickened!. Serve with rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
