1) NO, it is not always spicy!. The curries and some other dishes tend to be spicy and if you go the right restaurant, you can get very very spicy hot!. For milder , just ask for it mild, korma is usually mild!.

2) The style also has an effect!. Southern indian food is more spicy than northern indian foodWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, most are spicy for meat & fish but not veg dishes!. Curry is their speciality so is fried & baked food like roti prata, tosay, chapaty!. We like Indian & Malay food other than the normal chinese ones in S'pore!. It is food paradise here, known to the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
