Both are helpful suggestions, but a common everyday fondue pot with an alcohol burner to boil the stock is fine, I have an electric hot pot for chinese style dishes and a good fondue set for others!.

I also happen to have worked in Japan, and they have good ones there and both of the lady's are correct in there answers, but a fondue set with a alcohol burner or lamp oil one is powerful enough to keep the stock boiling and allow you to cook the thin meats, chicken, seafoods and veg properly, alot is in the preparation of the food to so you can make it work, even with the right equipment it is essential to prep right!.

Check the 3rd link it is called a Sunpantown, and is $54!.95Www@FoodAQ@Com
