Have you tried French Food? Do you like it?!

I live in France, I don't really like our cuisine!. Most deserts are alright, but I really, really hate all those paté's!. I also hate that foie gras comes from France, it's incredibly cruel to these animals!.

The best food is Asian food in my opinion!. Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese etc!. mmmmm!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I enjoy MOST french food, particularly the salade de nicoise (hold the anchovies) and the croque monsieur!. An amazing food (dessert) that you might want to try is Ile de Flotant!.!.!. it's like a merengue that floats in custard (hence the "Ile (island)" and the flavor is just indescribable!. Truly amazing!. While visiting France, I also developed a weakness for the pain au chocolates (chocolate bread), although I'm not sure if it actually originated in France or not!. The escargot is um!.!.!. an acquired taste, shall we say!? I tried it on a cruise ship, and truly didn't care for it!. Other than that, I'm open minded when it comes to food, and you should be too!. It's quite tasty!. My favorite French dish would have to be cassoulet!. It's a stew made with beans, sausages and other types of meat!. My husband and I had this ages ago, and it was soooo good!. I've had to learn how to make it (at my husband's insistence); that's just how good it is!.

I think Filipino and Japanese food though, they're way yummier!. (Then again, I'm a bit biased since I'm Filipino and grew up on the stuff!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm cooking French food for a wedding this weekend in fact I just made duck pate!. Their food is very much seasonal, local and fresh!. I also like Indian, Thai, Italian, Mexican and regional American cuisine and breakfast for dinner or at 2 am!. It all depends on my mood!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
