Jewish food advice...Latkas and Chaulla?!
My Mom made the best of both, unfortunatly she passed unexpectedly and now I'm left wondering, do you use already baked potatoes for latkas!? and how do I make Chaulla bread (knotted potato bread)!? I wish I'd payed attention when she tried to teach me!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Latkes use raw potatoes!. It's most common to grate them, but my family just throws everything into the blender!. The latkes don't end up like big thick pancakes you would find in a deli, but thin and really crisp instead!. Don't forget to serve with applesauce and sour cream!
