BRITISH!!! Without a doubt my favourite cuisine, and also probably one of the most misunderstood! I love the variety of fruits and vegetables which grow here, eating them seasonally, and also incorporating some influences from other types of cuisine!. I've travelled a lot, but so far the UK is my favourite country because of the scenery, weather (well, we Brits need to have something to complain about, dont we!?) and the FOOD!
P!.s!. I'm not talking about fish and chips or whatever so many people seem to think of as the only food you can get in the UK!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Our choice of cuisine is of course a personal matter, but for me the best cuisine on the planet is French!. There, now everyone thinks I'm a snob!. Not true!. French cuisine is full of robust peasant recipes as well as up-market aristocratic dishes!.
A simple starter such as smoked salmon with caviar is a pure delight!.
Then there is that ever faithful standby, French Onion Soup; the one with the crouton and grated cheese and sometimes a poached egg!. This is the food of a hard working peasant!.

You don't have to be rich to eat French and you don't have to know a lot about wine either!. The easy way out is to simply take the advice of the wine-waiter concerning choice of wines when dining out a la Francaise!.
