Can you believe: around 275 miles from Ohio to Toronto, CA during mango season, my parents were nuts for Indian mangoes! We went yearly and stocked up on Indian groceries & supplies too!. Back in the day, there were very few Indian grocery stores and no Indian mangoes in the US so we went across the border to Canada!!
Personallly, I have driven from San Diego, CA to Rosarito, Mexico many times (1!.5 hrs) for wonderful fresh lobsters, shrimp & crabs!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A few years ago, I drove 45 minutes to a Hardees, to try one of those monster 1600-calorie burgers!. It was big, and it tasted good, but it wasn't worth the trip!. Back then, the media was giving it a lot of attention!. Now, something like that comes out every 6 months!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
