We've been asking that ever since they first appeared, dripping fat whilst they turned so sadly in the shop windows - but officially, it's lamb! If you ever saw that programme on TV where they showed them being made in the factory that got raided by the food Inspectors you'd never eat (another) one!Www@FoodAQ@Com
A traditional doner kebab is made from minced mutton & other bits you dont realy want to know about!.
Here they are made from minced lamb/mutton I dread to think what else gets scrapped up & shoved in it!.
My local kebab shop makes thers from minced lamb/mutton & you can see them putting the whole thing togther!.
A kebab is any meat/veg fruit cooked on a skewer
To make your own mix some minced lamb,egg,coriander,cumin, s&p o taste!.
Shape onto a skewer & grill, or spread out onto a dish & grill
Serve with pitta bread,salad, chilli !.lemon sauce or what ever yo fancy!.

It's made from lamb, beef or chicken!. You can also get unusual, exotic kebabs such as fish, seafood, pork or tofu!. You basically just marinade the meat in some yoghurt, spices, etc!. and put it onto a stick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
