Is Goan sweet bebinca nice? tell me about it :D!
Answers:
Yeah, its awesome but really hard to make!. For bebinca, or bibbick you start by mixing coconut milk, coconut, sugar, ghee, egg yolks, etc!. Once you have a consistent mixture you use a circular pan and bake half inch layers!. You take out each layer once it is done, but you can also leave the cooked layers inside and put the batter directly on top!. You do this over and over, it takes hours, and when you are done you have a layered very sweet and nice gelatin like dessert!. It tastes similar to flan, without any sauce!. You can buy a processed one, like from a company, for about 70 rupees!. Its the square one and tastes pretty good, but there is nothing like the homemade version which typically costs a lot more, but is very nice and unique!. If you ever get the opportunity to try some, go for it!. It is much different from other Indian desserts, aside from the coconut milk, because it is Portuguese influenced!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
