Is it true that a lot of people gets put off with sushi because it sounds like RAW FISH!?!

sushi refers to ROLLS ONLY!. rolls (like rice with dried seaweed and filling) and maki (long dried seaweed wrap) are considered sushi!. the most popular type of roll (in north america) is a california roll, made with fake crab meat (fish), avacado and cucumbers!.
sashimi refers to RAW MEAT ONLY!. raw meat (like salmon, tuna, white tuna, octopus, squid) (and sometimes tamago (egg) on rice) is considered sashimi!.
both sushi and sashimi are great!. but most people dont eat them since they think raw fish is used in everything!.

I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat fish!.!.!. But I LOVE vegetarian sushi!.!.
specifically, I love "Kimbap" the Korean's version of sushi!.!. My friends (all vegetarians) make it with mushrooms, sliced carrots, and this pickled radish inside!.!. no fish or seafood!.

i grew up eating raw fish every day, it tastes a lot better to me than some greasy american cheeseburger!. for americanized sushi, you might like vegetable tempura or a roll with crab in it, and miso soup is always good and good for you!Www@FoodAQ@Com
More people would enjoy sushi if they just gave it a chance!. Many people do not realize sushi can contain cooked ingredients, or just veggies, as well raw fish!. There is something for everybody!.
