LOL- I just made this last night! I get my boxed pad thai from Trader Joe's so here is how I make it:
Boil enough water to cover the noodles!. When the water boils turn off the heat, then add the noodles and soak for 5 minutes!. Stir briefly to make sure all the noodles are evenly soaking!. Drain and rinse with cold water after 5 minutes!. They may still be a little chewy but should not be tough at this point!.
In the meantime, saute whatever add-ins you have (veggies, chicken, tofu, etc!.) When they are all sauteed then add the noodles and the sauce!. Stir-fry over high heat for about a minute until the sauce is combined evenly!. Remove from heat- enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I got pad thai from a box and it was good!. not as good as from a restaurant, but still good!. the instructions said to put water in the box to the line (really hard to see), then put in the noodles and microwave!. the brand was Thai Kitchen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Soak the noodles until they are soft, and stretchy!. This always works for me!. Just make sure you dont soak them too long to the point where they break!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
