If it is too hot add some extra tomato or some sour cream when serving!. I haven't ever had this problem as my children have iron stomachs but when company comes I tone things down by adding less chili and more tomato, the sour cream goes on after food is cooked as it can break (separate)!. you can also serve bread and milk as they also take the heat away!. Good luck with this problem it is easily fixed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Quarter a couple of potatoes (no need to peel them, just wash them thoroughly) and simmer them in the chili until they are soft but not mushy!. Remove them with a slotted spoon and discard!. That will take out some of the heat!.

Serve it with sour cream!. Dairy helps neutralize the capsicum!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
