I make this for my family all the time now!~

also, the side dishes for Bulgogi are called "banchan" and they are very simple and straightforward to make!.
Here are 3 of my family's favorite sides & their recipes:

In addition to those 3, you have to have KIMCHI along with it, (a must w/Bulgogi)!. It is a spicy pickled fermented cabbage!. For me, it is difficult to make (kind of time consuming and I can never get the taste just right) so!.!.!.!.I buy a jar from any Asian store!. This is probably the most popular side in all of Korean cuisine!
Enjoy--I'm sure you and the family will love it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

for bulgogi, usually beef is used!. the beef (fat level) should be between shabu shabu beef (fatty beef) and regular (no fat) beef!. you use a sweet korean marinating sauce (marinate the beef overnight) that can be found in asian or korean supermarkets (like P!.A!.T!. Oriental Market in Ontario)!. you also put in onions before marinating!. sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving!. bulgogi is usually served on a hot stone dish with rice!. side dishes include garlic bean sprouts, kimchi and spicy melons!.
