pastel tres leches is a cake made with 3 types of milk!.it's very simple, moist, and sweet!.!.!.

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
5 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 cups milk
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Grease and flour one 9x13 inch baking pan!.
Sift flour and baking powder together and set aside!.
Cream butter or margarine and 1 cup of the sugar together until fluffy!. Add eggs and 1/2 teaspoon of the vanilla extract, beat well!.
Add the flour mixture to the butter or margarine mixture 2 tablespoons at a time, mix until well blended!. Pour batter into prepared pan!.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes!. Pierce cake several times with a fork!.
Combine the whole milk, evaporated milk, and condensed milk together!. Pour over the top of the cooled cake!.
Whip whipping cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 cup of the sugar together until thick!. Spread over the top of cake!. Be sure and keep cake refrigerated, enjoy!

2 cups rice, uncooked, not instant
1 cup sugar
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 quarts whole milk
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions
1In a medium saucepan, place cinnamon sticks, add the whole milk and bring to a boil!.
2Add the rice, lower the flame and simmer covered for 15 minutes!.
3Add sugar and condensed milk and simmer for about 3 to 5 more minutes!.
4Add vanilla and remove from heat!.
5Serve warm in custard dishes, you can add raisins if you like!.

Sugar-Coated Spanish Peanuts
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon maple flavoring
4 1/2 cups raw Spanish peanuts with skins
1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS
In a large saucepan, combine the first four ingredients!. Cook and stir over medium heat for 20 minutes or until almost all of the liquid is absorbed!. Spread into a greased 15-in!. x 10-in!. x 1-in!. baking pan; sprinkle with salt!.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 24-26 minutes or until peanuts are well coated, stirring two to three times!. Remove to a waxed paper-lined baking sheet to cool completely!. Store in an airtight container!.

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup water
2 cups vegetable oil for frying

DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt!. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs!. Using hands, mix in water to make a smooth dough!. Knead lightly on a floured surface!. Cut dough into 12 pieces, and shape into round balls!. Cover, and set aside!.
Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)!.
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into thin circles!. Cut each circle into triangles!. Fry in hot oil, until golden brown, turning when dough puffs!. Remove, and drain well on paper towels!.

FLAN!!!! Seriously, it's the best thing ever if it's done right!. I haven't used this recipe, but it's pretty standard!. It tastes like caramel custard, but is sooooo smooth!.
