Question: What is typical Filipino food!?
Do anyone know what typical Filipino food is!? For a nice event, what would appetizer, main course and dessert be!? Anyone that knows any good recipes on line!?

I would suggest getting your food items at an authentic asian grocery store!. Not only are the prices much cheaper but the selection is so much better (I doubt you can find some of the ingredients at your local grocery store!. If you do, you will pay double or triple the price!.) I am hungry now!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on your taste, and other peoples tastes!.!. Cook things that people would be familiar with!.!.

Appetizer!? Hmm, i never actually had a filipino appetizer, just meals lol!. What about lumpia!? Either fresh lumpia, or deep fried!.!. They're both good, but they are different from eachother!.

Main course!?
Adobo and rice!.!.
Filipino spaghetti
Kaldereta and rice!.!. Its pretty much like a casserole!.!. beef or goat with potatoes, bell pepper, and carrots!.!. A bit spicy

Desert!?
Halo halo for sure! :)
Leche flan!.!.
They're both good together!.!. What about halo halo with leche flan!? Oh thats heaven!.!.

EDIT: Another appetizer could be fried fish balls or squid balls!.!.

And another main course could be bbq pork on sticks!.!. or bbq chicken!.!. Filipino bbq is different from others, and its pretty tasty!.!. with rice of course!.!. Or pancit !.!. or bothWww@FoodAQ@Com
