Here in Canada as they are popular in our Indian community they are also called Jalebi, I have seen them labelled a sweet fritters, but not alot of other names, like the other have said they translate into english well and there is quite a large Indian and Pakistani community here, from Hindus to Sikhs and other that there is no need for cute alternative names!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its still called Jalebi!. I always buy it from an Indian sweetmeats shop whenever I have a sweet tooth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
