Well, the English are known for their "warm breakfasts", which is, for example, fried/scrambled/poached eggs, bacon, baked beans (with or without toast), often friend tomatoes and even potatoes!.

In terms of bread, the english enjoy white bread, often with butter and jam, but they also have a lot of brown breads or rye breads!. They also have pastries which are consumed at teatime as well, such as scones and such!.

also, a typical English breakfast would include tea of course!

Of course there is!. It's called the Full English Breakfast!.It comprises as a very basic minimum :-

Bacon
Eggs
Sausages

Optional but highly desirable extras to add to taste : -

Black Pudding or White Pudding for the Irish variant
Fried Bread/ (at a pinch) Toast
Grilled tomatoes ( must be fresh - tinned ones need to be eaten on own +toast)
Beans if you're desperate

Finally and in any event a large pot of strong Breakfast Tea!.

Try it!.It will transform your life Www@FoodAQ@Com

well a traditional breakfast is the full english that consists of some or all of the following - sausages, bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms, fried bread, tomoatoes, baked beans, black pudding!.

however, I doubt there are many people who would have that every day as it is quite fattening, especially if fried!.

I just have a banana and a bowl of cereal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are quite a few, the main one I think is the 'Full English', which consists of egg, bacon, sausages, beans and toast, I rarely have this though because it takes too long to make in the mornings!. Most people just have a cup of tea and some toast for breakfast or a bowl of cereal!.!.!.depending on what their diet is like i guess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In my entire forty years I have never had the so called Full English breakfast!.

Its always been some form of cereal followed by a mug of tea or coffee!.

Used to include toast when I was a kid!.

Doesn't seem much compared to some answers, but at least I'm still slim enough to see my feet when I look down!. So, yay sensible eating!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
