Oh there are so many, I really enjoy using Chinese 5 Spice!. Which has things like salt, pepper, and cardmon!. Cinimmon is another favorite, especially around the holidays!. Oh! I absolutely love using cumin in some dishes!. I suppose it all just really depends on what I'm cooking exactly!. However a true staple that I use with just about everything [savory] is salt and freshly ground black pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I have an Asian market near my house!. I end up dousing so many things with their bottled fried garlic!. I've made my own; thin slices sauteed as low as possible in olive oil till crisp like chips, and poured over steamed broccoli, pasta, whatever!. But to find a comparable product bottled, which I can add to soups, anything that's bland and needs flavor, but not necessarily salt, is great :-) They also sell very nice bottles of fried onions, which don't have the coating like on the canned onions!.
Oh yeah, right, pepper! I'm mad for coarsly ground or cracked pepper!. For cracked pepepr, just put whole pepper corns in a baggie and wham it with a hammer!. It has a better tastes than pre-ground pepper, sweeter, tangy, with a bite though! Yum!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

LOTS & LOTS of garlic, red pepper, black pepper, onion powder, garlic, sea salt, chili powder all mixed together & is good on & in practically everything!Www@FoodAQ@Com
