Does authentic falafel have onion and coriander?!
I know cumin, garlic, parsley, cilantro, chick peas, salt and pepper are key, but are onion and coriander required!? I have had repeated arguments over this!.!.!.please helpWww@FoodAQ@Com

Cilantro is the same thing as coriander; cilantro is the Spanish word for coriander and coriander is the same genus as parsley, although the flavor is different!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I have a couple Middle Eastern cookbooks and none of them ever call for either!. All the ingredients you list, yes, I have never heard of the ones you question though! Who is arguing with you!? Maybe its a variation from a small area of some sort!. It would be interesting to know!.
