Its much harder to find non-halal peking duck in Singapore!. In Beijing, the ducks are specially reared by being forced fed until it grow very fat!. Due to bird flu fears, ducks and chickens here are slaughtered as soon as possible!. As a result, the birds are undeveloped and flat tasting!. Through roasting with aromatic woods, the peking ducks are finally prepared that feed a table of diners and served in special made chinese pancakes!. That is what makes Beijing signature dish that is rarely served elsewhere!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually, i don't think so!. I first tried Peking Duck in Beijing last year!. I'm not even sure if Singapore sells Peking Duck!? They may, but i doubt it'll be as good as those served in Beijing!. And halal Peking Duck may be a little difficult to find, unless you specifically request for it to be halal prior to ordering!. I believe that should be possible!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am not muslim

but I also have web sites for Kosher and halal

http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Halal

As I read the preparation (slaughter) must be conducted in the name of Allah and there seems to be doubt in the glazes

Now I have no idea If Fiyo's web sites are accurate (They seem OK)
BUT commercial adds carry NO reference to chapter / verse or the specific mosque verifying the seperation of the pork foods
I still say NO
