I went to this Indian restaurant last week!. They brought three little spice sides!. There was a sweet brown sauce, a spicy green sauce, and a bunch of red diced vegetables with a spicy taste!. What is the name of the red stuff!? It's great and I want to buy more!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's probably achaar/athanu!. They're Indian pickles that come in many varieties, depending on what vegetables and spices are used in the pickling!.

You can find them at any Indian grocery store!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

they usually serve different types of chutney on the side!. I think they are actually usually fruit like mango but they do spice certain ones up!. Here is a site that sells some really good traditional ones, maybe the one you are looking for is there!.
