You can find rye flour at most any grocery store!. Here in rural Missouri I have found it at Country Mart, Apple Market, Price Chopper, and HyVee!. You can also try Whole Foods, Wild Oats or other similar type store in your area!.

It may not be in the same location as the regular flour (check their health food isle), so you may need to ask for assistance in finding it!.

You can also search these sites online, to either buy online or to locate a store near you that carries their brand of rye flour: http://www!.bobsredmill!.com or http://www!.arrowheadmills!.com or http://www!.kingarthurflour!.com

I totally agree with you that what they sell as bread here is a total joke!. Good luck!

I am a former chef and live in Toronto Canada and buy mine at a Bulk Food store, I agree health food store will cost you an arm and a leg, look to ethnic based store, Polish, German, Scandinavian and there are website, but they are worst then HFS, you can usually find light and dark rye flour, rye flakes and groat ( broken rye kernels), I make a killer sourdough pumpernickel in the Polish manner if you find it let me know and I will get you the recipe, I also buy pre made swedish rye, check in the phone book under deli's or ethnic food stores!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We eat and bake rye bread in the US and you can find rye flour it in the baking aisle!. If your grocery store doesn't carry it, ask the manager to order it for you!. This is not a foreign ingredient in the USA!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ich weiss zwar nicht wo du die Zutaten kaufen kannst, kann aber nachvollziehen dass du danach suchst um mal wieder "ordentliches" Brot zu essen! Viel Glueck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
