Question: Is it a Chickpea or a Garbanzo Bean!?

I call them "Nohut" because I'm Turkish but in english speaken countries they're usually called Chickpeas
The word Garbanzo comes from old Spanish

In Turkey we roast them and put some spices and eat it as a snack, that is called "leblebi" in Turkish, in English yellow chickpeas!. It is a very traditional Turkish snack!. See this:

I usually say Garbanzo in salads and chickpeas in soups!. I don't know why, that's just what they're called around here!. I recently was introduced to Hummus and now I'm a big fan of that!. I'm from CT and Native American!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
