Why are Thai restaurants closed on mondays?!
9 out of 10 Thai restaurants i have ever eaten at close on mondays!.!.is this some cultural thing!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The reason for most Thai restuarant to be close on Monday because
most of the food suppliers are closed on Sunday and thus they are unable to obtain fresh supplies on this day to cater the cooking on Monday!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

But IF they are open Saturday &/or Sunday then
one day for the family Still makes sense too!.!.
Now the Ethnic groups of merchants may also have arrangements Just like the labor unions!.!. to keep it fair

I don't think it's a Thai thing!. I think it's a small restaurant thing!. For restaurants that can't afford to stay open 7 days a week, Monday is the best choice for closing!. Same with lots of small businesses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think they do it to have a break, small businesses need to do that as they don't have the staff to rotate to keep open 7 days, they usually pick the quietest one, ie Monday!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yea!.!.!. i don't think it is only Thai restaurants!. Alot of restaurants i know are closed mondays!.!.!. i think for cleaning up after the weekend and stuff like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
