And I mean proper hot stuff that burns your mouth with fire!. I think it has turned into quite an addiction as I can't stop eating them D; Just the pain and taste is pleasure!. Anyone else feel like this!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

psychologists have studied this and said that people become addicted to Hot Chile's as it is a form of controlled risk!.
I love Chile's and like to get hold of many of the different varieties!. But for the hottest of the hot you can't go past the Habanero!. While there are hotter (Dorset Naga) the Habanero also has a pleasant tropical taste that goes really well with fruit and fish!. Yucatan cuisine uses it extensively!.
My best experience though, I was in a store in Adelaide which sells the largest range of chile sauces in Australia!. The owner had opened one of the hotter sauces "Blairs Special Reserve" He asked if I wanted to try!. Being the lunatic I am I said yeah!.
i knew I was in trouble when he put on a pair of rubber gloves!. He took a toothpick and scratched a small amount from the bottle!. It hit my tongue and at first the flavour hit!. It tasted great!. then the heat hit!. For the next hour my lips where numb, I was staggering around!. It was like being drunk but without the huge amount of booze or the damage to my liver!.
