What is the name of the tiny snails used in Italian dishes?!

Question: What is the name of the tiny snails used in Italian dishes!?
Answers:
In english they are called"winkles" and are used by the European and the Asians, I have them in Chinese places done with either hot bean paste, ginger and garlic or black bean sauce!.

Most fish store will sell them or a Chinese/Asian store with fresh fish and groceries, there not expensive but a seasonal thing, in Europe they also use a very small clam like bi-value called Cockles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You mean "escargot"!? That's just the French word for "snail"!.
If you mean the actual species name of the snails people eat, a variety of different species of snails might be used!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
