Very random question....?!
I am watching a cooking show on tv and they were talking about making turtle stew but they never said how to get the turtle out of the shell!.!.!.!.now im really curious!. I have never eaten turtle and dont plan on it either but I just want to know how to get them out!. Is it like crab, you cook it then take off the shell or what!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom made turtle soup when I was a kid!. You have to kill it, then cut the shell off and throw him in the soup!. Shudder!.!.!. sorry, I never ate it!. I was 8 and I thought my parents had bought me a pet!. I went to the dinner table later that night and my new "pet" was in the soup!. :(Www@FoodAQ@Com
the turtle is at first put in boiling hot water and killed then the shell is taken off with the help of knife the meat is obtained!.after this any dish can be cooked with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
