Not entirely sure!. I ate a live maggot in Brazil once!. It tasted like raw nut meat!. Not too much of a shock, since it came out of a raw nut!.
I've also eaten crocodile, zebra, ostrich, warthog, various fish eggs, snail, umm!.!.!. hmm!. I've NOT had silkworm larvae!.
