What's your favorite dish to order from a Thai restaurant?!

Question: What's your favorite dish to order from a Thai restaurant!?
For the longest time, I've always ordered the Pad Thai from my local Thai place!. The other day, I tried the Pad Kee Mao (very spicy) with chicken- delicious!

So I was wondering if anyone could share their favorite item to order- maybe I can expand my horizons!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love Pad Thai, too!. My local restaurant serves something they call "Darling Duck" - duck meat stewed in a curry sauce then served with veggies and rice!. It's amazing!. I can't remember the Thai name of my favourite soup, but here is a recipe that I've made that is as close to the restaurant one as I've found:

THAI CHICKEN & COCONUT SOUP
Yield: 4 servings

2 Cups Canned low salt chicken broth
1 can 14 oz unsweetened coconut milk
1/2 Cup 1/4 inch slices of fresh lemongrass (can also use jarred)
1/2 Cup thinly sliced red pepper
1 Cup thinly sliced mushrooms
2 boneless chicken breast halves
1 Tbsp (or more) lime juice
2-4 Keffir lime leaves
1 Tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp Galangal powder

Finely chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Bring first 3 ingredients to boil in heavy medium saucepan!. Reduce heat, add chicken and simmer until almost cooked through, turning occasionally, about 12 minutes!. Transfer chicken to plate; cool!. Cut meat into 1/2 inch pieces!.

Strain soup through sieve into small saucepan!. Add lime juice, mushrooms and red pepper to soup and simmer until reduced to 2 cups, about 20 minutes!. Add chicken and simmer just to heat through!. Taste, adding more lime juice if desired!.

Ladle soup into bowls!. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro, if using!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Panang Beef or Chicken Panang (Panaeng), a traditional dish contains beef or chicken cut in thin strips, kaffir lime leaves, coconut milk, panang curry paste, palm sugar, some veggies & fish sauce!. So delicious eat it with Jasmine Rice!.

Satay (Saté), its smiliar to a shish kebab, consisting of chunks or slices of dice-sized meat (chicken, beef, pork, fish, shrimp & etc!.) on bamboo skewers and are grilled or barbecued served w/a spicy peanut sauce dip!.

Try the snack/appetizer dish Spring Roll, deep fried Fish Cake or-Shrimp (Thod Mun Pla), or their Crab Cakes (Boo Jah) all is delicious its served with a dipping sauce!.

Try there Papaya Salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
