Couscous...what's the story?!
i don't get it!. Even after cooking it too the letter it still comes out like tasteless sawdust!. What am i doing wrong or is it just the way it tastes!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

couscous on is own is tasteless but if you add to it it is quiet nice, I have different ways of preparing it, as side dish ,salads etc!.!.

You need to flavor the water before you cook the couscous!. Try adding your favorite herbs and seasonings to the water before you add the couscous!. Or you can cook the couscous in any type of broth (chicken, beef, vegetable)!. This will flavor the couscous!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's so funny, I grew up on this stuff (i'm moroccan)!.!.!.but I feel exactly the same way!.!.!.it is so tasteless!. But, my mom would cook it with "smen"!.!.!.which is clarified butter!.!.and chicken stock!.!.!.then add your veggies and meat!. I hope it turns out well for you!. Have a great day!.
