Stereotypically, perhaps!.
I had my wedding reception at a Chinese restaurant!. They offered white glove service for special events, had a fine wine selection, and amazing presentation!. It was more like fusion Chinese than what most think of "Chinese", but it was a Chinese restaurant, and it was very good and definitely not cheap!. People talked about it for years afterwards!.
There's also some nice Italian grills here which don't run all that cheap!. And a really nice Italian restaurant which was very good and rather pricey, I remember most that they offered souffle for dessert (guess some French inspirations!)
And there's always La Madeleine -- French quick service!. Not cheap, but not expensive either!.
