Your grossest experience with food?!

Once I took off to the beach for the weekend and while I was gone my roommate BBQ'd some big ugly fish, and instead of refrigerating it, he left it in the oven!. I came home to the stench from hell (it was summer) and maggots dropping out of my oven door!. I opened the oven and the fish was just ALIVE with maggots!. It was like a freakin horror movie!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

This isn't mines but my brother-in-law!. He ordered takeout from a restaurant that we usually went to!. The restaurant wasn't exactly the cleanest one, but the food was really good!. He opened up the package at work and inside where 3 huge cockroaches!. He's never eaten there again!. Thinking about it makes me quiver!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was at my friend's house and her mom was making dinner!. She picked up a piece of sausage out of the skillet (with her fingers), took a bite, then put it back in the skillet and kept cooking it!. Gross enough that she was touching food with her fingers, grosser that she took a bite then put it back in, and grossest that it needed more cooking time!. Eating raw sausage!? Blech!. I was so glad to be a vegetarian at that point!. My sauce was plain!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

My friend's mom invited me over for dinner and her food was horrible!. What made it worse was that the food looked so good, but it was awful! The fried chicken was completely bland; all I tasted was salt!. The macaroni and cheese was awful because apparently, she used American cheese instead of cheddar (or a mixture of cheeses, like I do)!. Then she had the audacity to make Kool-Aid!. Now, I don't drink it often, but when I do, it had better be made right!. She used Tropical Punch Kool-Aid, but put so much sugar and water in it that the drink was almost pink!. I almost gagged on the "meal"!. Never again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I had to clean out a refrigerator/freezer that was left unplugged in a rent house!. Do you have any idea what happens to packages of raw meat and TV dinners when left in a hot refrigerator for about a month!? Needless to say, the next time I would rather throw the whole refrigerator in the dump first!. I don't watch Fear Factor for a reason!.

I've never had problems with restaurants, but once my dad made some meatloaf!. The recipe said bread crumbs!. He put raw biscuits in instead, they kind of turned into snot!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
