I have a cookbook named "Festive Foods of Mexico"!. According to it, Pan de Muerto (Bread of the Dead) which is decorated with a cross made of Pieces of baked dough is common!. There are also candy skulls inscribed with the names of the people eating it!. It also mentions duck tamales!.

I have no clue how accurate the info is!. Just passing it along!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Traditionally you are supposed to make the food that the deceased liked to eat and offer it to them on their grave or on an alter made for them!.They also use a lot of sweets!.Mexican candy, sugar skulls and Mexican sweet bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
