Answers:
Puerto Rican and Cuban foods have similarities, but are still distinctly different cuisines in my opinion!. Both use some of the same ingredients like olive oil, adobo, sofrito for flavoring!. Both are more savory, not as hot as Mexican food, as the use of hot peppers is not as prevalent!. I'm suprised to hear Cuban food is only recently become popular in LA- in Florida it has been a favorite for many years due to the large number of Cuban communities!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
