No idea!. They could've just added a little more water!.!.!. My family (being traditional Asians that we are) buy our rice from the Asian supermarket so it's not specified where it's grown except for a tag that says "from Asia!." You can make rice sticky by just adding 1 more cup of water than you usually do!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
