An unknown, spicy, perhaps-noodle containing, Korean dish?!

Question: An unknown, spicy, perhaps-noodle containing, Korean dish!?
At this Korean festival in NYC I had this REALLY good Korean dish-- but I don't know what it was! It was prepared in a wok-like thing!. It was very spicy, had reddish sauce, and there were cylindrical noodle-like things (a guy I asked said they were "like noodles" and that they were made with the same ingredients!. They weren't hollow, and they were chewier than Italian noodles) and maybe pieces of fish patty in it!. I don't think it was kimchi!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's called Jee-gae!. Casserole in English!. The noodles in it are called Dang-myun( meaning sweet noodles), transparent round noodles made out of sweet potato gluten!. Yes, everything Koreans make is HOT !! Jee-gae is consisted of veggies, Kimchi, meat, Green onions, tofu, red pepper plus redpepper paste!. Lots of differrent ingredient go in there!. Oh!. boy they are good, it will chase your cold away, better than the Jewish penicillin chicken noodle soup, IMO!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
