Answers:
well, first it does not taste like chips!. lol It tastes like seaweed!. It is a slightly salty, very organic natural taste!. if you eat lots of fast food and pizza, its not for you!. if you love vegtables, maybe you;ll like it!. i love it and the way i eat it is mostly in soup, miso soup!. miso paste, maybe some tofu, chives, and small pieces of seaweed, it gets soft when wet and some times sliced boiled egg whites!. there are many types and you just have to look for them!. it is good for your hair i recommend you not buy any if you really dont like the taste or smell ummm well you can eat it as it is or cook it in soup or just cook it plain with sauce or sushi =]

but umm there are different types when you buy them like the ones you cook are usually like round in a bag and it looks crispy the ones you just take out and eat are flat in packages

there are brands but i cant seem to remember it so sorry -_-

oh yea uhh the kind you can just eat that are flat they have different flavors too i only try two before the original and spicy Www@FoodAQ@Com

well!.!.!. raw seaweed are usually salted and dried to make the japanese cuisine most people know about!. But some companys also "season" the dried seaweed and packages it to make crunchy snacks!. Its not disgusting unless you eat it raw!. which you should'nt be doing anyways

as for its hair benefits!.!.!. ive heard seaweed helps grow great hair!. but an easier way to put it is that the extracts contain some materials and vitamins that are great for your hair!. these can easily be found in other sources

so my advice would be to not go through that much trouble with seaweed and use an ingredient that might be more convenient to handleWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think there are three types of edible seaweed:
Wakame
Nori
the last one slips my mind!.
But wakame is used in salads and soups,
Nori is usually used in maki rolls, but it can be eaten by itself or be used to garnish any food dish!.
The last one is just used to make the broth called dashi, but I think you can eat it if you want!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like it, it tastes salty and "of the sea" you know the nice fresh salty scent you smell when you go to the seaside!?
And not the nasty low tide smell, lol!.

If you want to eat it plain, Nori is the way to go, it's the kind you wrap sushi rolls in!. It's already cooked and they even sell flavored kinds just for snacking on!.

I think it has lots of minerals so it would be good for you that way!.
I don't know if eating it would help your hair, but it wouldn't hurt, lol!.

Pokepika- the third kind is kombu, that's the kelp kind to make dashi with!.

Cristelle R's rinse recipe looks like what you are asking about though!.

It looks interesting, I'll have to try it!. I wonder if I'll smell like miso soup all day!? Ha ha!
