Sushi is fine already; the rice is already seasoned with vinegar, salt, and sugar!.
Sashimi is ok for soy sauce (just a tiny bit, O!.K!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't want too strong of a sauce or you'll lose the delicate flavor of sushi!. If you want to jazz up your soy sauce, mix it with a little wasabi, some grated ginger root and sliced green onion!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is usually only served with soy sauce as the dipping sauce, you could try eating it with wasabi (Japanese horseradish) or pickled ginger though!.
