What is this indian meal with mutton and spinach?!

Question: What is this indian meal with mutton and spinach!?
I ate this wonderful dish at an Indian restaurant in Japan!. It was chunks of mutton, slow cooked and very tender, in an almost creamy sauce with lots and lots of spinach in it!. Looked quite revolting, the sauce was practically green, but the flavour was out of this world!
Is this a dish anyone knows the name of!?
Thanks in advanceWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You are absolutely right!. It is mutton and spinach!. There is also cream and butter in it!. The spinach is actually ground!. So the gravy is green and creamy!. You can find the recipe all over the Internet by googling
The best preparation is called Makhani Palak Gosht!. At homes, it is made of Chevon the boneless sirloin from the leg of goat!. In restaurants they use the sirloin of the leg of lamb!.
In reality, the meat is cooked to a tender first!. The spinach is boiled and ground!. The spinach is added to lamb with spices and cream!. They are simmered together for the flavors to blend in!.
In India, Mustard greens are used in a similar fashion!. In that case its called Saag!.
If there is no cream and butter, the word Makhani is omitted
Makhani !.!. With cream and butter
Paalak!.!.!. Spinach
Saag !.!. Mustard greens!. Some people call Spinach as Saag also
Gosht!.!. Sirloin from leg of lamb or goat!. Its boneless and considered 'Pasanda' cut or choice cut of the lamb or Goat

Now you got the keywords, google away!.
You are right, there are no Potatoes, unless a restaurant was cheating and mixing two different dishes to make your dish!. It is a common practice in Indian restaurant!. This is no reflection on the quality of food, just a short cut!.

Just a note!. Mutton is Sheep!. Restaurants actually use Sheep or Lamb and call it mutton in United States!. I don't know about Japan!. In India, Chevon (Goat meat) is also called Mutton!. At home they use Chevon, at restaurants they use sheep!. Lamb (baby sheep) and Kid (baby goat) are hardly used in India!.

By the way it has nothing to do with Keema!. Keema is made with ground or minced meat and no cubed meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it was creamy, it may have been "Safed gosht kalia (white lamb with curry gravy), which is made with coconut cream, fresh cream and yoghurt and almonds!. Unusually it has no colouring, so no tomatoes, turmeric or chilli powder (it uses fresh chillis)!. Safed means white!.

it could have been Saag gosht (Saag = spinach, Gosht = lamb)!. If it was minced lamb it would be Saag Keema!. However there's no cream in Saag gosht, it's a thick sauce made with tomatoes!.

It may not have been spinach leaves, it could be mustard greens (sarson ka saag) which have more flavour!. You would just replace the saag leaves with mustard greens!.
