This is for anyone who tried fried fish with skin still on!.!.!.
I think it tastes great! Fish with skin still on but no scales and some garlic/ginger paste, dash of salt, TINY bit of red chili power fried in olive oil (or veg oil) and it tastes wonderful! It is mainly a South Asian recipe!.
Anyone who has tried this before (or anything else with fish skin still on), can you please tell me why the fish tastes SO much better with the skin!?

Exactly right! The skin acts as a wrap and helps maintain the moisture!. Notice the difference between dry as a bone fish and a whole fish cooked in the same manner for the same amount of time!.

Yes, its delicious! I always love to eat fish with the skin sometimes if its those tiny ones like smelt or the scad fish thats deep fried we eat it whole!.!.!.skin, head & bones!.!.mmmm so yummy with dipping sauce & rice!. Love all of them fried, grilled or boiled into a stew!. The fish skin is good for you it has nutrients in it such as omega 3 & have you ever wondered why we as Asians look much younger & have less wrinkles it because of our fish diet in our culture its contains alot of fish fat & its actually its good for you!. you sure have got it right, firstly the goodness is under the skin, and secondl y the flavour is the best with a crispy skin!. this is most revered in the restaurant business so just go ahead and make the skin crispy first before you turn the fish over in your pan,

We love to BBQ fish with the skin on!.We use a fish called snoek and while its roasting on the grill we brush it with a mixture of butter,garlic,lemon juice and apricot jam!.Its to die for!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
