Greetings! How do u season a wok ?!

Question: Greetings! How do u season a wok !?
Answers:
Take come cooking oil and wipe the inside of the wok then heat the wok up on a stove under medium hear until you see a slight smoke-let it cool and wipe any excess oil out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The wok may be seasoned like any cast-iron pan, by brushing the surface with cooking oil and baking in a moderate oven for an hour!. However, because of its shape and center of gravity, oil tends to flow down and gather in the center, resulting in an unevenly seasoned surface!. For this reason, I prefer to do the seasoning over a burner on top of the stove!.

Like the others said - with oil over a burner!. also after you've used the wok, don't wash with detergent!. Try to always clean it straight away with just hot water, using a scourer if you need to (unless it's got a non-stick coating), and then re-season immediately!. Over time the metal will become darker, but should still be clean!. After having the most disgusting stir fry at my mother's house I checked her wok and it had years of built up crud on it!. She'd just been giving it a quick wipe with a paper towel after using and calling it seasoned!. It took me hours of scrubbing to clean it before she killed someone!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For immediate results, you can do what everybody is suggesting, season it with some sort of oil!.

A deeper flavor can only be achieved by long use and high heat!. Eventually, the flavors of whatever you cooked previously will kind of, I don't know, sink in!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Clean the wok then dry thoroughly with kitchen roll!.
Warm it, then when is hot, pour in some oil, wipe all over with kitchen roll, then is done!. To wash, do not use soap, rinse, then dry, repeat stage above every month or so, depends on use!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
