Australia is a multicultural country and we have many cuisiness which are considered typical!. I think it depends on your age group really!. We eat traditional english food, such a casseroles, roast meats (lamb, beef and chicken), corned beef, steak on the BBQ, fish and chips!. Then there is italian cuisine (pasta), chinese cuisine, more recently, indian, vietamise & french!. !.
Australia is known for it pavlova dessert, lemon merangue pie, apple pie, bananna cakes, orange cakes!.

Aussie food is pretty much similar to the British one!.!.like pot roast, fish and chips and many different kinds of meat stew!. They also have this sort of "butter" called vegemite which would be the English version for marmite (both have an utter weird taste) but they just love it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
